As you may have guessed by the name, this is a travelling wine school. Having worked in an industry that is constantly moving around the world, I know how hard and frustrating it can be to find a course that fits your travelling, busy lifestyle.

The Wandering Wine School offers a unique approach to the original wine courses and tastings you all know and love. Offering WSET qualifications, bespoke wine tasting and events which are tailored to palate, budget and lifestyles all around the world. The courses and events are designed specifically for our busy lifestyles where traditional course hours aren't achievable. Through both online, in-person and on-board training, I aim to get you where you need to be. Whether it is weekends, public holidays or after hours- I will work with you to help you achieve your wine study goals.

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is the largest global provider of wine, spirits and sake qualifications. Trusted by the world’s most recognised drinks organisations, WSET has led the design and delivery of wine and spirit education for five decades. With four progressive levels of study offered through a network of course providers in more than 70 countries and translated into multiple languages, WSET qualifications inspire and empower drinks professionals and enthusiasts.

The yachting industry is an exciting, challenging and diverse industry. With endless sunsets, exotic (and not so exotic) locations, parties and events in the most iconic places around the world and not to mention, eating some of the most delicious crew food prepared by fantastic chef's every single day.... it's hard not to love this fantastic industry that is constantly changing and evolving.
Although still quite a small industry, it is growing at an incredible speed. Up until very recently, interior crew were required to have a few basic qualifications, however that is definitely changing. The PYA (Professional Yachting Association) has already announced they are endorsing industry standard training and certification for interior yacht crew. Captains and Heads of Department are constantly looking for extra qualifications and certificates that can add value to their department when employing new crew.
WSET courses are highly recognised within the yachting industry and give students a wealth of knowledge and the confidence when finding a position on a Superyacht. So whether you are just starting out in the industry or a seasoned chief stew, there will be a WSET course for your wine knowledge level.

The WSET Level 1 Award in Wines is a great course for beginners and is perfect for green stews just starting out in the industry with little or no prior knowledge of wine. A great introduction to the world of wine. This course is offered in person or online.

The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is an intermediate course, perfect for someone with introductory knowledge of wine. If you are an experienced steward or stewardess who wants to expand your knowledge of the wines of the world, this is for you. Offered both online and in person.

Completing my Level One WSET course with The Wandering Wine School was a fantastic experience and one that I cannot recommend highly enough. For those that have a desire to learn more about wine for professional reasons, or those who simply love a glass or two of wine (and who doesnt?!) then look no further. Rebecca is super knowledgeable on the topic and her calm and patient style of teaching ensured that the course wasn't only educational, but also super enjoyable to complete.
